Professional Experience
Timothy Bonczar joined The Thompson & Lichtner Company, Inc. in 2004. Since joining T&L Mr. Bonczar has provided a wide range of inspection and testing services in our weatherproofing services division.
Working in our own on-site lab facilities which offer weatherproofing systems and component testing he has performed window, door, and curtain wall testing in accordance with ASTM and AAMA standards. He has also performed evaluations and testing of various manufacturers weatherproofing materials such as sealants, membrane flashings, roofing, and waterproofing products.
He has provided in-field weatherproofing component installation observation, testing, and inspection services ranging from new construction multi-million dollar projects to residential maintenance and repair work. His experience includes the in-field testing of windows, doors, curtain walls, sloped glazing, and store front windows in accordance with ASTM and AAMA standards. On various projects Mr. Bonczar has provided third party weatherproofing component installation inspectional services for our clients ranging from the installation of below grade waterproofing systems, wall systems (windows, curtain walls, sloped glazing, store fronts, and doors) balconies, EIFS, and roofing systems. This quality assurance program consists of inspecting, documenting, and evaluating in-progress work, final inspections, preparing punch lists, and participating in on-site meetings with Owners, Architects, and Contractors.
In addition to in-lab and in-field services Mr. Bonczar works closely with our Senior staff at T&L to provide our clients with written recommendations, project specifications, and detailss based upon building surveys and leak investigations performed on site.

Kings Beach Towers Lynn, Massachusetts: Inspection of new window installation, curtain wall flashing and sealant installation, membrane flashings, new EIFS facade, and EPDM roofing installation.

1330 Boylston Street Boston, Massachusetts: Inspections of below grade waterproofing, Air and Vapor Barrier Membrane application, TPO roofing membrane installation, and inspection and testing of the window, curtain wall, and storefront components.
