Professional ExperienceEvan Karalolos joined The Thompson & Lichtner Company, Inc., in 1980, following his graduation from Northeastern University. Mr. Karalolos has twenty-three years of experience in most areas of the firm's inspection and testing services on new and existing construction projects including soils, piles, concrete, precast concrete, reinforcing steel, masonry and sprayed-on fireproofing. His experience also includes testing of concrete, soils, and steel in our materials testing laboratory. He has participated in various load testing of piles, floor slabs, joists, and anchor bolts in the field. In the laboratory, his experience includes the testing of construction assemblies, as well as the calibration of assemblies and load cells.
In addition, Mr. Karalolos coordinates both the field and laboratory work of our firm with our clients and our personnel. He controls the assignment of field personnel to projects requiring inspection and testing services, controls the day-to-day laboratory assignments, and review the test results prior to their submittal to our clients.
