Peter
Dalton joined T&L in 2007 as a senior weatherproofing specialist. He is
involved in the evaluation of building enclosures including roofing and below
grade waterproofing and the field inspection of all components of the exterior
façade including all weatherproofing components of the existing and new
buildings under construction from the weatherproofing and flashing installations
of back-up walls at masonry/stone veneer constructions to field installed EIFS
systems. His inspections also include plant inspections of EIFS wall panel
system constructions; field installation of metal panel systems; field
inspection of curtain wall installations; and windows and door systems
installation and the flashing tie-ins at the perimeters of these systems.
Projects worked on at T&L include: West End Residences; Longyear at Fisher
Hill; Quincy House, Harvard University; Nautica Condominiums, Charlestown;
Millennium Place; 30-40 High Street, Dedham; Malkin Athletic Center, Harvard;
400 Blue Hill Drive, Westwood. Peter
has over 38 years of experience in the waterproofing industry. Prior to joining
T&L, Peter was a field superintendent and corporate safety compliance
officer for a waterproofing company for 8 years; a project manager for both a
restoration company and a masonry and waterproofing company for 1 year and four
years respectively, and a field coordinator for a waterproofing company for 16
years. As field superintendent, Peter was responsible for as many as twenty
projects at one time of both new and restoration construction with contract
values up to $850,000. He was responsible for the day to day operations of
individual projects including material acquisition and interpretation of
contract documents. His project manager responsibilities included marketing
services, estimating new construction and restoration projects as well as
ongoing project management. As field coordinator, Peter was responsible for all
field management operations for as many as 20 concurrent projects with
individual contract values of up to $1,000,000 and for daily site supervision of
up to 120 field personnel. He evaluated conditions of buildings in preparation
for labor and material cost estimates and worked with architects and engineers
to prepare mock-ups used in evaluation of waterproofing procedures. Representative
