Henry R. (Bob) Heywood is Chief Executive Officer of the Thompson & Lichtner Co., Inc. He joined the firm in 1974 and soon began his professional focus on all aspects of weatherproofing design and construction-related problems in building envelopes. In addition to determining weatherproofing identification, analysis, and solutions, he devised special field testing procedures and conducted laboratory research to evaluate material compatibility and durability.

A nationally-recognized expert in weatherproofing design and construction of building envelopes, Mr. Heywood continues to conduct hundreds of water leakage and weatherproofing failure  investigations in both new and existing structures, high- and low-rise buildings, in addition to providing advisory services for owners, architects, and contractors, and conducting training sessions for professional organizations and companies.
